Chêne Noir NEW
Miss Madonna EP (Studio 35 - BM 65) 1973, France

Ultra rare and now almost impossible to find 1st pressing of the famous spiritual jazz 7" 3 tracks EP recorded Live by La Troupe du Chêne Noire in July 1973. Includes the dark, meditative bulky black mass of "le Chant du Cirque" with piano, sax and haunted voices. Intense and beautiful at the same time, often considered as a prog band, this tune is just brilliant spiritual jazz. The flip side is also superb with "Le Numéro De Miss Madonna" probably one of the best avant / spirit jazz recorded in France. Superb mysterious style artwork cover sleeve much better than the one from the more usual pressing. Fragile paper cover is EX with a small crease on bottom right corner. Record looks NM with no marks, plays with a few light background noises on the intro due to the quality of the pressing. Send your offers.

Intercommunal Free Dance Music Orchestra NEW
L' Intercommunal Vol.3 - chant pour l'Amérique Latine : (Vendémiaire) 1978, France

Surprising album by L'Intercommunal Free Dance Music Orchestra led by pianist François Tusques. Fantastic mix of jazz, folk, and protest songs. Don't miss out the deep "Abrisme Galanica" with a superb fusion of traditional instruments like biniou (bagpipes from Britany), jazz orchestration and revolutionary lyrics sung in French. The deep Sun Ra esque "L'Heure est à lutte" is also not to be missed. With massive african percussions, features Jo Maka on sax, Michel Marre (Cossy Anatz) is on trombone. But my favorite cut remains "Mar Jo Cantar No Fabia" a beautiful protest jazz cut with a strong oriental/spanish influence, sung in spanish by Carlos Andreou. Record looks unplayed. Cover is VG ++ with a few wear on spine and one small sticker. A really nice copy of probably the hardest to find from the Intercommunal Serie.
