Daniel Der Sahakian
The Oriental Bazar (Voice of Stars VOS 10024-A) 197?, Lebanon
Deep Oriental, Middle Eastern, Belly Dance music for the more traditional out there with Ney, Oud, Bouzouk as lead instruments interplaying with bells and of course the darbouka but there's also more psychy tracks with the electric piano, organ a la Omar Khorshid by the equally interesting and funky Hassan Abou Seoud. Finally there's also a drums only track by the Rhythm group which would satisfy any of the samplers out there.
Cover/Vinyl: VG+/EX - €50
