Tala Andre Marie NEW
Arabica (Fiesta - 360.010) 1978, France

Seldom seen afro disco funk album by brilliant blind african guitarist Tala André Marie with heavy afro disco grooves like the sleazy Dibango style "Arabica", the powerful straight afro jazz funk "Black Gold" and finally the monster boogie dancefloor anthem "Sugar Lump" with fat disco kick ... no far from the best Dibango productions. Record is NM but there is a 4 clicks at the intro of "Arabica" so I graded it VG ++. Cover is NM. Great album giveaway price.

Extremely hard to find album recorded in 1976 in Paris by the most famous Zaerian singer Abeti. It includes THE track everybody is after "Musique Shieula"' a deep progressive instrumental mixing fuzz guitar sounds, funky african grooves and deep hypnotic synths gimmick. Really a superb crossover tune. "Ngashuba marte"is also a great afro pop tune. Also worth to check "Tata Mobutu" & "Nuawa Muke Wa Miso" brilliant acid psychedelic afro song. The whole album is really excellent. French pressing only on Pathé. Probably pressed at a very small run as it is super hard to find even here in France.
