René Costy & Willy Albimoor
The Rapture (Orly New Times n°12) 197?, France
Library Collectors are after the famous "Scrabble" Chappell library by belgian composers René Costy but most of them might not know this one, released with Willy Albimoor on the small Orly New Times label. Includes many excellent cuts like the famous "The Longest Night" a trippy groovy cuts or the Umiliani Style "Secret mixture" with lush string arrangement. Killer jazz funk cuts on "The Devil's ride" and "Off limits" which sounds like a Michael Longo track. Don't miss out the monster psych jazz "Pop in three". Stock copy.

Lou Stein
Introspective 1 (Orly Kaleidoscope N° 18) 197?, France
Ultra rare release on the hard to find Orly Kaleidoscope french library label. The whole album is composed by Lou Stein and includes several killer psych jazz cuts going from drama funky jazz to psychelic pop mod. Don't miss out this titles on the 12' soundclip : "Discovery" / "Sonata in 3 movements" / "Crosstown" / Mailman in the rain ...Some great harpsychord tunes remind me Baroque Jazz Trio or Pop Instrumental de France.

Strange Love Action (Chappell) 197?, France
An amazing, varied collections of very brief cues and some longer, surprisingly progressive, bizarre compositions. Not sure who the actual composers are, but I get the feeling it's some of the "usual suspects" (Nardini, Roger, Giordano, Eddie Warner, etc...), if the familiar arrangements and sounds say anything. Definitely more complex and engaging than most "straight" library album. This one plays like a conceptual piece... about what nobody knows... "Desert Weather" is the most infectuous, awkward ditty I've heard since a while.

Suspense (Montparnasse 2000 - mp 2000 # 121) 197?, France
Super rare drama contemporary cosmic jazz session with bouncing breaks like on "Suspense dramatique" sound like a darker Planete Sauvage ... Check also "Angoisse Spatial" another ill tense bass, drums, and weird aerian sounds, violin, or "Poursuite oriental" a monster bass over jazz drumming perfect to make a nice hip-hop beat ... lots of interesting noise as there is tonz of effected solos instruments ... Aquatic bass on "Suspense Spatial".

Strictly Rhythmical / Rythmical Melodies (IM 17 - l'Illustration Musicale) 197?, France
One of the most wanted on the mythic library label l'Illustration Musicale composed by Eddie Warner for the first side & Georges Teperino aka Nino Nardini for the B side. Includes the fast paced dark psych moog LSD futuristic synth funk "Minor Mind" that was comped by Luke Vibert on Further Nuggets. Also huge tunes like the cosmic funk of "Night Walk", the obssessional insane electronic moog funky "Cleopatra", weirdo electro "Aberration", "Perpetuo Popile". One the hardest to find on IM.

Eddie Warner
100% Electronic (IM # 12) 1970, France
We guess on this one, Eddie Warner, genius musician and founder of IM Library known as the Label of Modern Rythms, has been helped by Nino Nardini. Super dark electronic mood, fantastic cosmic moog, killer drums, crazy wild effects, even if most of IM releases are excellent, this one is in my opinion the craziest. Hard to describe so checking the soundclip would be the best way to discover this sought after Lp... A fantastic piece of music.
