Eskaton NEW
Ardeur (Musique Post Atomique) 1980, France

Fantastic first album by this underground french group doing some Zeuhl music in the same vein as Magma. Also make me think to Belgian band Cos. The incredible 10' long "Dagon" is a massive electro funk prog track that was recently compiled on Stones Throw "Psych Funk 101 - A Global Psychedelic Funk Curriculum". Really a killer tune, don't sleep on this one. Really hard to find now.

Danta NEW
(Epic EPC 65148) 1972, UK

Great Funky Psych Soul Rock classic from UK produced by french unsung hero Claude Delcloo (Full Moon Ensemble). Killer album inc. the groovy "Calypso Rock" + the superb psych soul "Cleopatra" with monster bass/drums loop à la Dusty Fingers. The percussive heavy psych Strom Song Part 1 & 2 and the killer "Mother" . Really solid album plays EX, cover is clean but has torn corners and begining of peeling.

Eskaton JUST SOLD
Fiction (Musique Post Atomique) 1983, France

Eskaton was formed in 1970 but release his first 7" in 1979. This 2nd album released in 1983 is bar far their best. Often compared to Magma, this band has his own very singular sound powerful, violent and sometimes oppressed but with strong lyrical content ... Could also be compared to Belgium Prog Jazz band Cos ... Record is NM / Cover is strong EX. Soundclip soon ...

Michel Conte NEW
Aimons-nous les uns les autres (Vogue) 1970, Canada

One of my favorite psych freak beat sung in France comes from Canada ! Fantastic record with load of effects on production by Michel Conte, a french born musician/compositor who settled in Quebec in the 50's. In 1970 he released this monster psych freak beat album with a strong weird Xian lyrical content mixed with killer fuzz, loud groovy beats on "Pierre", "En ces temps là" or the crazy "Je reviendrai ..." Copy in top shape ! Record is NM, cover is NM.

William Shelller NEW
Lux Aeterna (CBS) 1970, France

First pressing of this splendid french pop psych symphonic album, that unsung William Sheller originally composed for his weeding at the age of 26 ! Including the amazing "Introit" with Hip Hop beats, Gregorian style choral vocals, moody strings and orchestration sampled by Dan the Automator on his Deltron 3030 project. The musical theme of Introit is repeated throughout the LP and there are some other moments with beats and lots of samples to be had. One of the truly french instrumental psychedelic pop holy grail. Record is flawless w/ a few harlines barely visible, cover is strict NM with a small wear on the seam. Superb copy
