Each side is one 20 minute-ish tracks Sangandongo (19.07) that was compiled on Dusty Fingers, and Malanga (20.42) with drums of fury by Udo Lindenberg helped by Klaus Weiss and 5 others brutals drummers and percussionists ...Original German Press, Really hard to grab in Mint condition, don't sleep on it.

Arica
Heaven (Just Sunshine, JSS-11) 1971, US

Quite unknown private experimental psych LP recorded by the Arica commune with an instrumentation blending of traditional jazz-rock and exotic (sitar, ethnic woodwinds, all sort of percussions) instrumentation. Recorded on a midsummer night in NYC when one hundred members, musicians, and dancers, gathered at the Electric Lady studio and played until dawn.

Great psych/prog avant album with spoken word version of french poet Arthur Rimbaud, said by Bernard Verley with the music by Catharsis. Deep and weird at the same time with reminiscence of Chêne Noir "Chant pour la lune le delta et le soleil". This is the second chapter including the texts of Delires. In great condition.

Sloche
J'ai un oeil (RCA) 1976, Canada

Splendid progressive psych jazz album by Sloche, a band from Canada that released this first on french label RCA. A fantastic jazz funk fusion with great scat on "C'Pas Fin Du Monde" a 8:55 long track with punchy rhodes, super funky drums, sounds a bit like Cos or Edition Speciale. Mainly look after for the monster breaks track "Algébrique" compiled on Dusty Fingers, the whole lp is excellent with "Le Karème D'Eros" or "J'ai un oeil" or "Potage aux herbes douteuses". Check the long soundclip.

My personal favourite Catharsis album... Superbly arranged late 70's french prog with noteable funkiness, terrific bass lines, wordless vocals and perfect harmonies. Also a pretty rare LP in perfect condition, definitely collectable and absolutely recommended. My advice if you aren't in the know about it: listen to the soundfile that contains my personal favourites: Dis oui, Et s'aimer, Dza and Tia... Absolutely not to be missed!

Second album from Quasar, an obscure australian band delevering a superb blending of electronic, rock, jazz and psych, totally wild, abstract and original.This very rare private press has only great tracks like "Man Coda", "Reality's Way" and a "The Little Prince". Beatheads don't miss "Zeitgeist," which has a fantastic break beat intro. Only 500 copies.
