Includes killer powerful afro jazz-funk tunes like "Peace upon Kenemaland", "At the Jazz fountain" or "Owoicho Oche". Superb horns section and killer african percussions. Record is EX with a few surface, plays EX with a few bknoises. Cover is NM.

Fantastic afro jazz funk record by Nigerian born trumpetist Ray Stephen Oche backed by a dream team of Congolese, Togolese, Gambian, Guinean, Brazilian and French musicians. Released only in France on excellent label Disque Esperance. Includes the brilliant "Odeiyolaoo" and "Ikwunmokon - Okoitiho"2 killer afro funk tracks with powerful horns section. But the whole album is solid jafro jazz with cuts like "Alaglanu - Alaglano", "Okwukwu - Kiwongo", "Botalaboyoka" and "Daybreak On the Niger". Both record and cover in great condition. Really hard to find today.

Powerful jazz with an orgy of funky horns, flute, fuzz guitar and the amazing sound of the drums and bass section, loud and flamboyant production. Grab it while you can as you see prices burning on Ebay ! I just pulled it out from my personal collection ... Record is excellent, cover has a few split on top and bottom seam. Still a fine copy. There's a few bombs like "New Anniversary Waltz" and "Sing A Simple Song Of Praise" the title track "...Space ... Rapture" is just a bomb. Some superb modal tunes like "Out west"

Includes several superb spacey jazz funk cuts with clavinet, synth, smooth rythms section, E-Piano, Piano etc. Like the killer "Astral dance". The whole album is beautiful, halfway between Azymuth, Italian Library & Lonnie Liston Smith & Jackie Giordano. Superb summer feel ! Now in demand and super hard to find as it was a real flop when it was released inthe late 70's ! Record is EX with barely visible surface. Cover is VG ++ with slightly used edges.

Mainly looked after for the devastating "The Positive and the Negative" and his killer drumbreaks, but the whole album is amazing with lush versions of "Take Five", "And I Love Her" and "Soul Bamboo".
