André Popp NEW
Le Coeur en Fête (AZ) 1971, France
Super hard to find cult psych pop album by monsieur André Popp. After his avant garde "Delirium in hi-fi" LP, after his groovy arrangements for many french singers during the 60s&70s, be prepared for a groovy progressive psych pop (should say Popp !) at his best. Simply one of our favorite french album with the track deep prog/sitar theme getting into a stormy funky organ/jerk on "Pour celui qui viendra" and also the insane "Theme in G minor". Essential.

Jean Buisine NEW
Hymne à L'haltérophilie / Poids et mesure (Private press - RSN) 1981, France
This 7' had been privately released in 1981 for the Weightlifting World Championship in Lille (France), and guess what those enthusiastic heavy sportive amateurs were also talented groovy musicians. Check the very Godchild/Harlem Pop Trotters inspired "Poids et Mesure" for a fat dancefloor synth/keys guitar bass drums jazz funk set. Side A is also a real nice cosmic tune with weirdo weightlifting sounds ! Impossible to trace 7, very few were pressed, so grab a copy now because this is the kind of record you won't see again ! With this super nice graphic design artwork. This stock copy has a default of pressing on the 20s on the B But side. Plays really nice with only audible noise at starting of the track.
