Doc Daïl NEW
"Stone me" b/w "Why do you cry" (Disc'Az - SG 149) 1970, France

Ultra rare 7" by DocDaïl a french band from Toulouse who released 3 singles at the time. This "Stone Me" with lead vocal by Ticky Holgado - who was Johnny Hallyday’s secretary, Hendrix roadie when he was in France and well-known actor with a long career - is really a killer freakbeat with a proto punk feel really ahead of its time. Really hard to trace today.

Emmanuel Booz NEW
"Chanson Liberté" s/t "On m'appelle Emmanuel Booz" (Atlantic) 197?, France

Rare single by underrated french rock singer Emmanuel Booz. While side A is extracted from his cult first album on Ballon Noir, B side "On m'appelle Emmanuel Booz" is an exclusive song (and does not appear anywhere else) with beautiful groovy prog jazz arrangement with classy Rhodes solo. Still under the radar, reminds me some Cortex production from the same period (much better in my humble opinion). Recommended !
