Ultra-rare French edition of this hard-to-find Proto-Raï 7" by the popular Moroccan singer, featuring the unmistakable trumpet sound of legendary Algerian musician Messaoud Bellemou.
The A-side, "Soyez Gentille," is a superb percussion-driven traditional track enhanced by a haunting Farfisa organ, creating a truly hypnotic atmosphere. On the B-side, "Zine Ya Hlima" delivers a fierce, infectious slice of early Raï that is just as mesmerizing.
Condition: Record is really clean, plays beautifully, and grades VG++, with only a few barely visible surface marks. An actual audio/video clip of the copy for sale is available on our Instagram.
The unique French picture sleeve is also VG++, remaining in excellent overall condition.
