A superb and genuinely rare Algerian Raï 45 by Boutaïba Sghir, one of the founding fathers of the genre and a major influence on generations of Raï artists.
"Guylli Guylli" is a perfect example of early Raï at its finest, blending soulful vocals, infectious North African rhythms, vibrant brass, and irresistible grooves. On the flip, "Oublie Moi" delivers a heartfelt performance full of emotion and authenticity.
Original Algerian pressings from this era were produced in limited quantities and are increasingly difficult to find today, making this an essential record for collectors of vintage Raï, Arabic grooves, and North African music.
Please note: the copy offered here comes in a different picture sleeve from the one currently shown on Discogs, featuring an alternate artwork that makes this edition even more distinctive.
A beautiful and highly sought-after 45 from one of Raï's true pioneers.
Record looks clean but plays VG as usual with this low quality pressing / Alternate sleeve is in VG+ condition.
