Eddie Warner - The Beat'n Pops (L'Illustration Musicale IM 1 - France - 1967)
This " Beat'n Pops" is the first release of the cult L'Illustration Musicale french library music label founded by Eddie Warner. This is great orchestral grooves as usual with the French/German composer who fled nazism in the 30s. I particulary love the the thrilling dark theme "Detective Theme". "Blow, Brother" and "A Bit Of Beat" are both superb groovy orchestral organ beat themes with a powerful horns section. For the psychedelic fans don't miss "Something Poppy" a crazy uptempo organ beat fuzz guitar. Rare 10' in top condition for Library music serious collectors.
