In 1974, Tusques, true pioneer of free jazz in France, then tired of the "too intellectual" turn that this music was taking, created the Intercommunal Free Dance Orchestra, a group made up of musicians from various communities. Tusques takes action and engages his music in the political and humanist fight.
This Privately released free jazz album produced with the help of the Prades-Le-Lez brass band led by Michel Marre (Cossi Anatz) featuring amateur percussionists from Paris, the collective music group for a revolutionary front: Carlos Andreu, Boussaba,
which was recorded during a demonstration in support of the mobilization against the Fontanet Circular* of 1972, sets to music the struggle of these workers in a mixture of North African percussion, funky solos and Fender Rhodes piano, Bolshevik fanfare and protest choirs.
