"The Quest" recorded in 1961, contains one of the most emotional jazz composition I have ever heard. "Warm Canto" is the meet of 4 jazz giants, pianist Mal Waldron, Eric Dolphy on alto sax and clarinet, Ron Carter on Cello and Booker Ervin on tenor sax.
This is the 1st time I see this Turquoise Blue typo sleeve edition. I didn't managed to identify the pressing as this version is still not submitted on discogs ! It has with Dark Blue New Jazz label, wide deep groove both sides. Matrix / Runout (Runout, side A: NJ 8269 - A / VAN GELDER stamped) Matrix / Runout (Runout, side B: NJ 8269 - B / VAN GELDER stamped).
Record is strong VG++ (only a few surface marks / Sleeve is VG+, (no spit, light wear, clean spines, a sticker on back cover)
