The Orchestre De La Garde Républicaine was Guinea first state orchestra formed at the Independence in 1958. A few years later the band split in 2 formation.
This album released on Syliphone Conakry in 1967, show the 1st group on side A (the 1ère formation were nationalised in 1972 and were renamed the Super Boiro Band). Side 2 for the 2nd group (2ème formation) . Check the deep afro latin jazz beauty "Kairaba". Certainly one of the hardest to find on the label.
Record is solid VG, still glossy and shiny looks great plays well with light background noise / Sleeve is strong VG+ (wear on back, water marks).
