Ultra rare Haitian Funk, Kompa, Latin Jazz album by U-Turn a band formed by Alix Jacques (Colé Colé Band, Les Frères Dejean, Djet-X). Mainly look after for the laid haitian funk boogie track "Songé", this album is filled with great funk cut like "Together", the title tune "Démon Du Midi" is also a cool 80's Synth Funk cut. While "Feeling Your heartbeat" is a pure modern soul cut. "Panno Kayé" is a mix of traditional compas with modern instrumentation. I also particularly love "Min Yo" a pure Haitian RaRa hybridation with an ambient tune. Perfect to switch from Tropical to House Music ! Fantastic overlooked album I have never found a spare copy ! So rare.
